No political bias at MWU: Karnali state deputy speaker

Karnali State Assembly deputy speaker Pushpa Gharti has said educational and academic elevation of the Mid-Western University would be the priority of the state government.

In her address to a welcome programme organised by the University for its new students here today, Gharti called on all for depoliticising the University.

Faculty of Science and Technology Dean Dr Dev Bahadur Khadka highlighted the need of operating academic as per the changing context.

Girls Unity Society chair Mamata Khatri advised the University that it should increase its activities.

The Master’s degree students have demanded the University administration reduce the fees.
