Karnali to hold winter session on February 7

The State Assembly in Karnali is holding its winter session on coming February 7.

The meeting of the Karnali State government’s council of ministers has agreed to summon the fifth session on the above mentioned date.

Besides, the meeting endorsed working procedure 2076 BS relating to the legal assistance and the working procedure 2076 BS relating to the disaster risk insurance, according to Karnali government spokesperson and Minister for Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives Bimala KC.

According to the legal assistance-related working procedure, 20 facilitators: ten chief facilitators in ten districts in the Karnali and 10 at the local levels will be appointed. It has been decided by the meeting.

The Karnali State has formed the State Tourism Board by executing its previous decision. The Board has the representation from all ten districts in the State. The 11-member Board comprises Babi Kishore Gurung (Dolpa), Lalitjung Mahat (Jumla), Dansingh Karki (Mugu), Bed Bahadur Shahi (Jajarkot), Marmajung Bam (Kalikot) and Laiku Lama (Humla).

Others members in the Board are Bishnu Prasad Sharma (Dailekh), Pahalsingh Gharti Magar (Rukum West), Lok Bahadur Hamal( Humla), Chintamani Sharma (Surkhet) and Ishwori Budhathoki (Salyan).
