Govt focus is on women empowerment, Minister Gurung claims
Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizens Parbat Gurung on Sunday pledged government’s help to make women socially and economically self-reliant.
The government had focused on women empowerment and was at work to implement the norms that women and men are equal while increasing women’s access to resources and taking them to the decision making level. The minister was inaugurating a youth entrepreneurship gathering organised here by the Nepalese Young Entrepreneurs’ Forum, an apex body of young entrepreneurs established in Nepal with a vision of empowering positive business thinking.
