General convention should be held on time-leader Koirala

Nepali Congress central member Dr Shekhar Koirala has said there is a hope for timely general convention with the resolve of dispute in the party.

Addressing a gathering of party cadres organized by NC Tanahun here today, Dr Koriala said the consensus between the party President and senior leader has increased level of optimism for the NC general convention on time.

"However, the party cadres should pile pressure on the leadership to accomplish the general convention in the stipulated time", he asserted.

He also called for the leadership to accommodate all sides soa s to make the party strong.

On another note, he said the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) should be taken ahead by reviewing and amending the problems if any.
