Chief Minister of Gandaki State, Prithvi Subba Gurung, has argued that Gandaki State was being developed as a tourism hub for the lovers of nature and culture.
Inaugurating the community homestay at Beshisahar municipality-10 today, CM Gurung said Nepal is rich in culture, religions, ethnicities and languages.
Among seven States, Gandaki State is rich in culture, he claimed, adding that the State government would work for further development of culture and tourism in the region. He hoped that the community homestay programme would help make Visit Year 2020 successful.
Ten houses has involved in homestay. Some 80 tourists can be provided accommodation, said proprietor Dudh Prasad Ghale. According to him, there are 153 houses belonging to disparate ethnicities in the municipality. One can behold different peaks as Lamjung and Annapurna from this village.
Those staying in homestay are entertained with Krishna charitra, jhyaure and ghatu dances and songs of the Gurung community.
