Public holiday on Sonam Lhosar
The Dhangadimai municipality in Siraha has announced a public holiday on the occasion of Sonam Lhosar, the great festival of the Tamang community. The Municipality has announced a holiday on January 23, Friday.
Issuing a notice, Chief Administrative Officer of the Municipality Gajendra Nath Sharma said the holiday is announced for a day earlier because the festival happens to fall on Saturday, January 24. As a result, the municipality and ward offices, schools and other public offices will remain closed.
