Ex UNESCO Chair Davidson to attend peace marathon in Pokahra

Former Chair of United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Dr Davidson L. Hepburn is scheduled to participate in world peace welfare international marathon in Pokhara.

The marathon is being held on February 15. The marathon is organized by former players’ forum. The forum chair Tej Gurung shared the ongoing preparations relating the marathon at a press meet here Tuesday.

Speaking in the event, Gandaki State Minister for Internal Affairs and Finance Kiran Gurung suggested for the works to make the event a success. He added such event will enhance awareness on health and sports.

Pokhara metropolitan city Mayor Man Bahadur GC also expressed his commitment to make the event successful.
