Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Ishwar Pokhrel on Sunday praised the ‘unification path programme’ put forward by the Nepal Army. NA has advanced the initiative so as to contribute to the promotion of country’s tourism.
The programme would encourage the feelings of national unity among the state and the people, he said at a concluding programme of the mega unification path seminar organised here at the Nepal Army Headquarters.
"This is a multi-purpose programme, which can help the people unite against state division and for the protection and conservation of national heritages," he said.
The army is at work to launch the programme targeting Visit Nepal Year 2020, starting from Kavrepalanchowk in the second week of March and gradually expanding to all seven states.
On the occasion, Mayor of Kamalamai Municipality, Sindhuli, Khadga Bahadur Khatri said the programme would contribute to increase the feelings of unity among Nepalis and promote tourism.
