IG Khanal says tough time for criminals

Chief of Nepal Police Sarbendra Khanal has said the criminals would get no chance to hold their heads high.

At a programme in Bhanu Municipality of Tanahun district on Saturday, Inspector General (IG) of Nepal Police Khanal viewed that crime and criminals are the hindrance to prosperous country so the police force is always committed to contain the criminals.

He pledged to carry on the community-police partnership campaign and shared that the initiative has played vital role in crime control.

Stating that security situation would be made robust for development works, Khanal argued that development, and law and order are complementary to each other.

On the occasion, Mayor of Bhanu Municipality Udayaraj Gauli and Chief District Officer of Tanahun Rudra Prasad Pandit, among others stressed for partnership between citizens and police in maintaining law and order.
