Energy Minster Pun calls to revitalize cultures

Minister for Water Resources and Energy Barsha Man Pun has said that our traditional practices should be revised without destroying the ancestors’ identity.

Inaugurating the Magar Costumes Competition at Ghorahi on Saturday, Pun said that the practices should be revamped in a new fashion without destroying the customs followed by our ancestors.

People from other communities in the country should take ownership of each other’s arts, culture and festivals as that is the entire nation’s identity, he added.

On a different note, Minister Pun said that the government has upped its activities for electrification and 40 districts in the country would be fully electrified in the first phase.
