Leader Nepal calls for socio-cultural change

Nepal Communist Party (NCP) senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal has urged the voters here to cast their ballot in the upcoming January 23’s National Assembly election without deceit.

Former Prime Minister Nepal, who arrived in Sarlahi on Wednesday to participate in a programme, urged the voters representing the alliance of NCP and Rastriya Janata Party (RJP) Nepal in State-2.

The programme named ‘Nirantarata Part IV’ was organized by Chetana Sandesh Nepal and JB Tuhure Foundation at Hariban municipality-5 in the district.

Calling for cooperation from the voters for ensuring social, cultural and economic change, leader Nepal lauded the contribution of JB Tuhure in raising the political, cultural and social awareness among people through his musical journey since panchayat era.

Radheshyam Pashwan and Tulasha Dahal are contesting from NCP while Mrigrendra Kumar Singh Yadav and Sekhar Kumar Singh are vying from RJP-Nepal for the upcoming National Assembly election.

Furthermore, the leader pressed for the need to breed more crusaders like Tuhure to bring about political changes.

Sugarcane farmers complain of non-payment

The sugarcane farmers, on the occasion, bemoaned to leader Nepal and Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security Rameshwor Yadav that they had not received their due payment to which leader Nepal and Minister Raya pledged to address their problem.
