Stress on inclusion of science and technology in curriculum

Vice-chancellor of Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST) Sunil Babu Shrestha has emphasized on the need to include science and technology in the school curriculum. Speaking at the conclusion of a three-day science and technology and space workshop organised by the New English Boarding School here Saturday, he suggested the government to provide scientific equipment for students in the rural parts of the country.

Mayor of Kamalamai municipality Khadga Bahadur Khatri said the municipality is giving priority to science and technology in order to develop Kamalamai as a model municipality.

During the workshop, students from various schools in the municipality displayed their innovations including binocular and robot.

The students also interacted through telecast with Avash Maskey, who built the Nepali satellite and discussed with him about various innovations in the field of science and technology.
