NC demands way out of HoR session obstruction

Main opposition Nepali Congress has expressed its concerns about postponement of the meeting of the House of Representatives on Sunday, accusing the government and ruling Nepal Communist Party of irresponsibility in this regard.

In a statement issued on Sunday by NC’s spokesperson Bishwo Prakash Sharma, the NC has drawn the attention of the government to the post of Speaker lying vacant for the past three months.

HoR’s failure to proceed its business for want of a Speaker is a wrong practice, read the statement.

Saying that the NC has taken obstruction of the HoR session for the past one month seriously, it demanded the government and the NCP to give a way out.
