Three-day-long programme to mark Prithivi Jayanti

The Nepal Academy of Fine Arts, Nepal Academy of Music and Drama and the Cultural Corporation are observing a three-day celebration of the 298th Prithivi Jayanti. Accordingly, a talk programme on ‘King Prithivi Narayan Shah and Transhimalayan Geopolitics’ was held here on Friday.

Today, joint art exhibition is taking place while a procession along with garlanding of the statute of King Prithivi will be held on Sunday. A folk cultural festival will be held at the Rastriya Naachghar on Sunday evening, according to the organisers.
