President Bhandari extends sorrow over Australia’s bushfires

President Bidya Devi Bhandari has offered sorrow over the devastating bushfires in Australia that left many people and thousands of wild animals dead, and destroyed thousands of acres of forest lands.

In a tweet on Saturday, President Bhandari wished for the concerned authorities to douse the fires at the earliest and appealed to the world community to minimise effects of climate change by conserving the nature and culture.
