Household Utilities Chart of Gokarneshwor Municipality, Kathmandu District (2011 Census)

The pie-charts for different sources of household utilities of Gokarneshwor Municipality, Kathmandu District is based on 2011 population census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) of Nepal. As of 2011, most households (15,960) used tap water as their source of water while 6,076 households were depended on tube well. Remaining households who used different types of water sources were: covered well (2,622), spout (1,094), other source (576), uncovered well (367) and river stream (128). With reference to source of fuel, mostly used fuel was lp gas with total number of 23,080 households. The second top source of fuel households used was firewood (2,391). Rest of households used different fuel sources, such as: kerosene (1,268), other source (30), biogas (25), electricity (11) and cow dung (9). Similarly, electricity was primary source of light with total 26,489 households using it. Other households used kerosene (129), solar (12) and other source (8) as their source of light.
