House Design Ratios Piechart of Palungtar Municipality, Gorkha District (2011 Census)

The pie-charts about different house designs, such as foundation, wall, roof and toilet types of Palungtar Municipality, Gorkha District is based on 2011 population census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) of Nepal. As of 2011, largest number of houses in Palungtar Municipality had foundation as mud bonded with total number of 731 (1,255.40%) houses, while foundation having cement bonded were 362 (49.52%) houses. Rest of house foundations were wooden piller (248), rcc piller (107) and other types or except listed here (14). With respect to the house wall, most houses had mud bonded wall with total number of 8,917 (90.05 %) houses, while second most houses had cement bonded wall with total number of 677 (6.84%) houses. Remaining houses had bamboo (145), wood planks (138) and unbaked brick (16) wall. Similarly, there were 6,433 (64.97%) houses that had roof type as galvanized followed by 1,758 (17.76%) houses having roof type as tile. Rest of houses had roof type as thatch (1,374), rcc (325), other types or except listed here (6), mud (3) and wood (2). In total, 3,920 (39.54%) houses had ordinary toilet while 3,511 (35.42%) houses had flush toilet and 2,482 (25.04%) had no toilet.
