The pie-charts about different house designs, such as foundation, wall, roof and toilet types of Mangalsen Municipality, Achham District is based on 2011 population census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) of Nepal. As of 2011, largest number of houses in Mangalsen Municipality had foundation as mud bonded with total number of 340 (1,834.41%) houses, while foundation having cement bonded were 261 (76.76%) houses. Rest of house foundations were wooden piller (56), other types or except listed here (19) and rcc piller (4). With respect to the house wall, most houses had mud bonded wall with total number of 6,195 (94.28 %) houses, while second most houses had cement bonded wall with total number of 282 (4.29%) houses. Remaining houses had wood planks (57), other types or except listed here (19) and bamboo (18) wall. Similarly, there were 3,417 (51.95%) houses that had roof type as tile followed by 1,873 (28.48%) houses having roof type as thatch. Rest of houses had roof type as galvanized (1,114), rcc (168) and other types or except listed here (5). In total, 4,234 (64.32%) houses had no toilet while 1,913 (29.06%) houses had flush toilet and 436 (6.62%) had ordinary toilet.
