House Design Ratios Piechart of Geruwa Rural Municipality, Bardiya District (2011 Census)

The pie-charts about different house designs, such as foundation, wall, roof and toilet types of Geruwa Rural Municipality, Bardiya District is based on 2011 population census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) of Nepal. As of 2011, largest number of houses in Geruwa Rural Municipality had foundation as wooden piller with total number of 6,079 (91.46%) houses, while foundation having cement bonded were 443 (7.29%) houses. Rest of house foundations were rcc piller (67), mud bonded (51) and other types or except listed here (9). With respect to the house wall, most houses had bamboo wall with total number of 2,779 (45.33 %) houses, while second most houses had other types or except listed here wall with total number of 2,749 (44.85%) houses. Remaining houses had cement bonded (499), mud bonded (53) and wood planks (32) wall. Similarly, there were 2,241 (36.61%) houses that had roof type as thatch followed by 2,111 (34.49%) houses having roof type as galvanized. Rest of houses had roof type as tile (1,600), rcc (160), wood (5) and other types or except listed here (4). In total, 3,754 (61.25%) houses had no toilet while 1,475 (24.07%) houses had ordinary toilet and 900 (14.68%) had flush toilet. Just to clarify that, the data that was not stated or information about the people who did not stated what types of house designs they had are not illustrated in the pie chart and are not analyzed here.
