House Design Ratios Piechart of Birendranagar Municipality, Surkhet District (2011 Census)

The pie-charts about different house designs, such as foundation, wall, roof and toilet types of Birendranagar Municipality, Surkhet District is based on 2011 population census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) of Nepal. As of 2011, largest number of houses in Birendranagar Municipality had foundation as mud bonded with total number of 8,899 (163.34%) houses, while foundation having cement bonded were 4,554 (51.17%) houses. Rest of house foundations were rcc piller (2,720), wooden piller (1,513) and other types or except listed here (112). With respect to the house wall, most houses had mud bonded wall with total number of 11,095 (47.35 %) houses, while second most houses had cement bonded wall with total number of 10,075 (43.00%) houses. Remaining houses had bamboo (1,224), unbaked brick (569) and wood planks (274) wall. Similarly, there were 9,638 (41.21%) houses that had roof type as rcc followed by 7,853 (33.58%) houses having roof type as galvanized. Rest of houses had roof type as thatch (4,004), tile (1,607), mud (122), other types or except listed here (111) and wood (51). In total, 15,979 (67.81%) houses had flush toilet while 4,807 (20.40%) houses had ordinary toilet and 2,780 (11.80%) had no toilet. Just to clarify that, the data that was not stated or information about the people who did not stated what types of house designs they had are not illustrated in the pie chart and are not analyzed here.
