House Design Ratios Piechart of Baraha Municipality, Sunsari District (2011 Census)

The pie-charts about different house designs, such as foundation, wall, roof and toilet types of Baraha Municipality, Sunsari District is based on 2011 population census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) of Nepal. As of 2011, largest number of houses in Baraha Municipality had foundation as wooden piller with total number of 16,790 (76.88%) houses, while foundation having other types or except listed here were 1,522 (9.06%) houses. Rest of house foundations were cement bonded (1,359), rcc piller (1,001) and mud bonded (636). With respect to the house wall, most houses had bamboo wall with total number of 14,089 (80.88 %) houses, while second most houses had cement bonded wall with total number of 1,961 (11.26%) houses. Remaining houses had wood planks (531), mud bonded (452) and other types or except listed here (376) wall. Similarly, there were 11,577 (66.53%) houses that had roof type as galvanized followed by 5,160 (29.66%) houses having roof type as thatch. Rest of houses had roof type as rcc (500), tile (75), other types or except listed here (48) and wood (40). In total, 7,746 (44.33%) houses had flush toilet while 5,745 (32.88%) houses had no toilet and 3,982 (22.79%) had ordinary toilet. Just to clarify that, the data that was not stated or information about the people who did not stated what types of house designs they had are not illustrated in the pie chart and are not analyzed here.
