Terhathum – 1 | 1999 House of Representatives Election Results

There were 49,525 votes casted during 1999 House of Representatives elections in Terhathum District, Constituency No. 1. The candidte of Nepal Communist Party (Unified Marxist-Leninist) - Vijaya Subba secured 16,628 (33.57%) votes and secured victory in the election. The runner-up candidate was Ganesh Prasad Bimali of Nepali Congress Party who secured 12,022 (24.27%) votes and came in second position. The difference in votes of Vijaya Subba and Ganesh Prasad Bimali was 4,606. All other candidates secured 20,875 (42.15%) votes.
