Siraha – 1 | 1999 House of Representatives Election Results

There were 49,079 votes casted during 1999 House of Representatives elections in Siraha District, Constituency No. 1. The candidte of Nepal Communist Party (Unified Marxist-Leninist) - Ram Chandra Yadav secured 14,810 (30.18%) votes and secured victory in the election. The runner-up candidate was Padam Narayan Chaudhary of Nepali Congress Party who secured 13,855 (28.23%) votes and came in second position. The difference in votes of Ram Chandra Yadav and Padam Narayan Chaudhary was 955. All other candidates secured 20,414 (41.59%) votes.
