Rupandehi – 2 | 1994 House of Representatives Election Results

There were 40,323 votes casted during 1994 House of Representatives elections in Rupandehi District, Constituency No. 2. The candidte of Nepal Communist Party (Unified Marxist-Leninist) - Dhanpati Upadhyaya secured 13,571 (33.66%) votes and secured victory in the election. The runner-up candidate was Ram K. Tamrakar of Nepali Congress Party who secured 10,850 (26.91%) votes and came in second position. The difference in votes of Dhanpati Upadhyaya and Ram K. Tamrakar was 2,721. All other candidates secured 15,902 (39.44%) votes.

As illustrated in the pie-chart above, the candidates who lost the election secured 26,752 (66.34%) votes as compared to votes secured by elected candidate Dhanpati Upadhyaya, which was 13,571 (33.66%) votes.
