Pachrauta is a Municipality, which is located in Bara district, Province No. 2 of Nepal. Pachrauta has total 9 wards, which are scattered across 44 square kilometers of geographical area. According to 2011 Census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Pachrauta Municipality had total population of 34,175.
Wardwise Population and Households
As per 2011 population census, Pachrauta Municipality had total 34,173 population with 17,538 males and 16,635 females. Out of total wards, ward number 7 had the largest population 5,108, while ward number 3 had least number of population with 5,108.
With respect to number of households, Pachrauta Municipality had total 4,707 households. The ward number 7 had most households with total 746, while ward number 3 had least number of households with total 375 number of households.

In terms of age, the largest population in Pachrauta Municipality were between 5 and 9 years of age with total 5,820. Gender wise, there were 2,991 males and 2,829 females of the same age group. The least populated age group was above 75 with total 453 population, which consistes of 253 males and 200 females. Literacy, Education Levels & Schooling
There were only 11,962 people fully literate in Pachrauta Municipality as of 2011 who were able to both read and write, while 1,075 people were able to read but not write. In percentage while compared to genderwise population, there were inf percent of male were literate, while the percentage of female literacy was inf only.The literacy ratio between male and female population was nan.
Out of total 7,592 population between the age of 5 and 25 as of 2011 in Pachrauta Municipality, total 4,349 males and 3,243 females were attending the school. Same as, out of total 7,286 population of the same age group who were not attending the school, total 3,310 male and 3,976 female were not attending teh school. The ratio of male and female who were going to school was 1.34 while the ratio for those who were not attending the school was 0.83.The CBS census also states that 424 males and 522 females did not state whether they were attending school or not.

According to Nepal Government records as of 2017, there were total 19,924 in Pachrauta Municipality with 9,638 (48.37%) of males and 10,286 (51.63%) females. There were total 19 schools. In average, 1049 students were studying in each school.

Population by Language Spoken
Mostly spoken language in Pachrauta is Bhojpuri, which is spoken by 32,652 people. The Pachrauta has people who speak other languages, such as Maithili, Urdu, Nepali, etc.

There were as little as Dom caste with population of as little as 13 in total. Out of total population of 34,173, there were total 1,339 (3.92%) disabled persons in Pachrauta Municipality with 743 (55.49%) males and 596 (44.51%) females. The physically disabled persons were 484, while mentally disabled people were 23 and intellectually disabled were 10.
Similarly, there were 639 people who were blind and 77 people were deaf, while 14 people were both blind and deaf. Moreover, 48 persons had reported of having speech problems. Total 44 people had multiple disabilities.

Household Foundation
Out of total 4707 households in Pachrauta Municipality, there were 2,053 houses that were founded on mud bonded while 690 houses were cement bonded. Same as, 51 households were reported of being founded on RCC piller, 1,377houses were founded on wood.
With respect to wall of the houses, 1,316 houses were mud bonded, 792 houses were cement bonded, 71 houses were wood planks bonded, 2,128 houses were bamboo bonded and 160 houses had unbaked bricks on their outer walls.Rest of the houses were reported of having other types of outer wall, while some of them reported nothing of having the outer wall bonding.
There were several types of house roofs reported. Total 792 houses were reported of having thatch roofs while 52 houses had galvanized roofs. Similarly, 3,075 houses had roof of tile, 660 houses had RCC roofs, 46 houses had roof of woods while 0 houses were reported having roof of mud. out of 4,707 households in Pachrauta Municipality, 716 houses reported of having no any facility in their household while 3,912 households reported of using at least one facility. Economic Census
According to 2018 Economic Census, there are total 474 establishments in Pachrauta Municipality that are involved in various economic activities. In those establishments, total 1,062 persons are engaged for the economic activities, as a self-employed or an employee, with total male engagement of 941 and female engagement of 121 persons.In every business, there were an average of 2.24 people engaged with average males are 1.99 and females are 0.26. The ratio of male to female engagement in the establishments are 7.78, which means as many as 7.78 males are enagement in the economic activities per female.
Similarly, the engagement of males were 88.61 percent while the females are 11.39 percent.
