Nuwakot – 2 | 1999 House of Representatives Election Results
There were 40,303 votes casted during 1999 House of Representatives elections in Nuwakot District, Constituency No. 2. The candidte of Nepali Congress Party - Dr. Ram Saran Mahat secured 18,889 (46.87%) votes and secured victory in the election. The runner-up candidate was Dr. Prakash Chandra Lohani of Rastriya Prajatantra Party who secured 8,954 (22.22%) votes and came in second position. The difference in votes of Dr. Ram Saran Mahat and Dr. Prakash Chandra Lohani was 9,935. All other candidates secured 12,460 (30.92%) votes.
