There were 46,046 votes casted during 1999 House of Representatives elections in Morang District, Constituency No. 7. The candidte of Nepal Sadbhawana Party - Badri Prasad Mandal secured 15,634 (33.95%) votes and secured victory in the election. The runner-up candidate was Miss Shailaja Acharya of Nepali Congress Party who secured 12,125 (26.33%) votes and came in second position.
