There were 37,993 votes casted during 1994 House of Representatives elections in Makwanpur District, Constituency No. 2. The candidte of Nepal Communist Party (Unified Marxist-Leninist) - Birodh Khatiwada secured 16,144 (42.49%) votes and secured victory in the election. The runner-up candidate was Kamal Thapa of Rastriya Prajatantra Party who secured 11,878 (31.26%) votes and came in second position.
