Khotang – 1 | 1994 House of Representatives Election Results

There were 39,150 votes casted during 1994 House of Representatives elections in Khotang District, Constituency No. 1. The candidte of Nepal Communist Party (Unified Marxist-Leninist) - Tanka Rai secured 14,737 (37.64%) votes and secured victory in the election. The runner-up candidate was Bal Bahadur Rai Rumdali of Nepali Congress Party who secured 14,260 (36.42%) votes and came in second position. The difference in votes of Tanka Rai and Bal Bahadur Rai Rumdali was 477. All other candidates secured 10,153 (25.93%) votes.
