Kathmandu – 3 | 1994 House of Representatives Election Results

There were 33,289 votes casted during 1994 House of Representatives elections in Kathmandu District, Constituency No. 3. The candidte of Nepal Communist Party (Unified Marxist-Leninist) - Man Mohan Adhikari secured 15,692 (47.14%) votes and secured victory in the election. The runner-up candidate was Prakash Man Singh of Nepali Congress Party who secured 11,378 (34.18%) votes and came in second position. The difference in votes of Man Mohan Adhikari and Prakash Man Singh was 4,314. All other candidates secured 6,219 (18.68%) votes.
As illustrated in the pie-chart above, the candidates who lost the election secured 17,597 (52.86%) votes as compared to votes secured by elected candidate Man Mohan Adhikari, which was 15,692 (47.14%) votes.
