There were 34,224 votes casted during 1994 House of Representatives elections in Gulmi District, Constituency No. 1. The candidte of Nepal Communist Party (Unified Marxist-Leninist) - Ram Nath Dhakal secured 17,485 (51.09%) votes and secured victory in the election.
