Dolakha – 2 | 1999 House of Representatives Election Results

There were 36,604 votes casted during 1999 House of Representatives elections in Dolakha District, Constituency No. 2. The candidte of Nepal Communist Party (Unified Marxist-Leninist) - Anand Prasad Pokhrel secured 15,845 (43.29%) votes and secured victory in the election. The runner-up candidate was Tara Bahadur Koirala of Nepali Congress Party who secured 11,752 (32.11%) votes and came in second position. The difference in votes of Anand Prasad Pokhrel and Tara Bahadur Koirala was 4,093. All other candidates secured 9,007 (24.61%) votes.

As illustrated in the pie-chart above, the candidates who lost the election secured 20,759 (56.71%) votes as compared to votes secured by elected candidate Anand Prasad Pokhrel, which was 15,845 (43.29%) votes.
