Bannigadhi Jaygadh is a Rural Municipality, which is located in Achham district, Sudurpashchim Province of Nepal. Bannigadhi Jaygadh has total 6 wards, which are scattered across 58 square kilometers of geographical area. According to 2011 Census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Bannigadhi Jaygadh Rural Municipality had total population of 17,359.

As of 2011, 3,884 population in Bannigadhi Jaygadh Rural Municipality were absent from their households, which equals to 22.37 percent of the total population. Absence of males was 2,913, which equals to 38.86 percent of total 7,496 males. Same as, 971 females were absent, which equals to 9.84 percent of 9,863 females. The population with age-group 5 to 9 had male to female ratio of 0.98, which states that this age group had maximum males as compared to females. Similarly, age-group 60 to 64 had most female population as compared to male population with male to female ratio of 0.51. The age-groups had majority of male population while age-groups 5 to 9, below 4, 10 to 14, 15 to 19, 55 to 59, 35 to 39, above 75, 45 to 49, 50 to 54, 25 to 29, 20 to 24, 65 to 69, 30 to 34, 40 to 44, 70 to 74, 60 to 64 had majority of female population as per male-female ratios. Moreover, age-groups had eqivalent or almost equal numbers of male and female population with male-female ratios of 1.

There were several types of house roofs reported. Total 440 houses were reported of having thatch roofs while 152 houses had galvanized roofs. Similarly, 2,750 houses had roof of tile, 9 houses had RCC roofs, 0 houses had roof of woods while 1 houses were reported having roof of mud. As per 2011 CBS census, some of the houses had other types of roofs while some didn't report about the roof structure.

With respect to the toilets, 2,230 out of 3,373 houses didn't report of having a private toilet for their households. Nevertheless, 1,007 houses were reported of having flush toilet while 130 houses reported having ordinary toilets.

In Bannigadhi Jaygadh Rural Municipality, there were total 1,329 houses, which were equiped with piped tap water resources while 3 houses were reported of having tubewell water facilities. Same as, 376 houses had covered well while 174 houses didn't have any cover on their tubewell. Other resources of water facilities were spout water (1481) and river stream (4), which were reported of the household's source of water.

With reference to source of fuel, 3,343 households reported their source of fuel as firewood while 1 households had kerosene as their fuel source. The LP gas was used by 4 households as a source of fuel. Moreover, other sources of fuel were cow dung (6), bio-gas (10), fuel electricity (0), etc.

Same as, total 948 households had reported of having electricity as the source of their household's lighting. The households still using kerosene as source of light were 241, while 245 households used solar energy as source of lights. Total 0 households also reported of using bio-gas as a source of light. The ratio of use of electricity as compared to other source of light was 0.28.

out of 3,373 households in Bannigadhi Jaygadh Rural Municipality, 1,371 houses reported of having no any facility in their household while 1,905 households reported of using at least one facility. In those establishments, total 646 persons are engaged for the economic activities, as a self-employed or an employee, with total male engagement of 426 and female engagement of 220 persons.In every business, there were an average of 2.73 people engaged with average males are 1.80 and females are 0.93.
