Bajura – 1 | 1994 House of Representatives Election Results

There were 42,362 votes casted during 1994 House of Representatives elections in Bajura District, Constituency No. 1. The candidte of Nepal Communist Party (Unified Marxist-Leninist) - Hikmat Bahadur Shahi secured 21,013 (49.60%) votes and secured victory in the election. The runner-up candidate was Dev Raj Joshi of Nepali Congress Party who secured 19,503 (46.04%) votes and came in second position. The difference in votes of Hikmat Bahadur Shahi and Dev Raj Joshi was 1,510. All other candidates secured 1,846 (4.36%) votes.
