Adanchuli is a Rural Municipality, which is located in Humla district, Karnali Province of Nepal. Adanchuli has total 6 wards, which are scattered across 151 square kilometers of geographical area. According to 2011 Census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Adanchuli Rural Municipality had total population of 7,116.

As of 2011, 36 population in Adanchuli Rural Municipality were absent from their households, which equals to 0.51 percent of the total population. Absence of males was 25, which equals to 0.71 percent of total 3,543 males. Same as, 11 females were absent, which equals to 0.31 percent of 3,573 females. In contrast, bottom 5 least age group male population were above 75 (25), between 70 and 74 (29), between 65 and 69 (50),between 60 and 64 (91), and between 55 and 59 (102), with total population of 297. With regards to female population, top 5 age groups females were below 4 (632), between 5 and 9 (550), between 10 and 14 (438), between 15 and 19 (334), and between 20 and 24 (290), with total population of 2,244. In contrast, bottom 5 least age group male population were above 75 (17), between 70 and 74 (27), between 65 and 69 (74),between 55 and 59 (92), and between 60 and 64 (97), with total population of 307.

The population with age-group above 75 had male to female ratio of 1.47, which states that this age group had maximum males as compared to females. Similarly, age-group 65 to 69 had most female population as compared to male population with male to female ratio of 0.68. The age-groups above 75, 10 to 14, 55 to 59, 45 to 49, 40 to 44, 70 to 74, 15 to 19, 35 to 39 had majority of male population while age-groups 25 to 29, 30 to 34, 50 to 54, below 4, 5 to 9, 60 to 64, 20 to 24, 65 to 69 had majority of female population as per male-female ratios. Moreover, age-groups had eqivalent or almost equal numbers of male and female population with male-female ratios of 1.

The ratio of woman of child-bearing age and the number of todlers state that, approximately 809 children were born per 1,000 women. This number is also roughly used as fertility levels when direct measures of births are not available.

According to Nepal Government records as of 2017, there were total 2,754 in Adanchuli Rural Municipality with 1,360 (49.38%) of males and 1,394 (50.62%) females. There were total 19 schools. In average, 145 students were studying in each school.

There were several types of house roofs reported. Total 3 houses were reported of having thatch roofs while 15 houses had galvanized roofs. Similarly, 6 houses had roof of tile, 0 houses had RCC roofs, 5 houses had roof of woods while 1,092 houses were reported having roof of mud. As per 2011 CBS census, some of the houses had other types of roofs while some didn't report about the roof structure.

With respect to the toilets, 578 out of 1,121 houses didn't report of having a private toilet for their households. Nevertheless, 402 houses were reported of having flush toilet while 141 houses reported having ordinary toilets.

In Adanchuli Rural Municipality, there were total 934 houses, which were equiped with piped tap water resources while 0 houses were reported of having tubewell water facilities. Same as, 0 houses had covered well while 0 houses didn't have any cover on their tubewell. Other resources of water facilities were spout water (181) and river stream (6), which were reported of the household's source of water.

Same as, total 0 households had reported of having electricity as the source of their household's lighting. The households still using kerosene as source of light were 0, while 149 households used solar energy as source of lights. Total 0 households also reported of using bio-gas as a source of light. The ratio of use of electricity as compared to other source of light was 0.00.

out of 1,121 households in Adanchuli Rural Municipality, 624 houses reported of having no any facility in their household while 495 households reported of using at least one facility. According to 2018 Economic Census, there are total 276 establishments in Adanchuli Rural Municipality that are involved in various economic activities. In those establishments, total 1,311 persons are engaged for the economic activities, as a self-employed or an employee, with total male engagement of 842 and female engagement of 469 persons.In every business, there were an average of 4.75 people engaged with average males are 3.05 and females are 1.70. The ratio of male to female engagement in the establishments are 1.80, which means as many as 1.80 males are enagement in the economic activities per female.
