Jagdulla Rural Municipality (Dolpa) Election Results 2017
In 2017 election of Jagdulla Rural Municipality (Dolpa district), candidate Nara Singh Rokaya of Nepal Communist Party (Maoist) (CPN (M)) secured 556 (56.16%) votes out of total votes of 990 and was elected as a Chairman. The first runner-up candidate was Dal Bahadur Mahatara of Nepal Communist Party (Unified Marxist-Leninist) (CPN (UML)) who secured 434 (28.07%) of votes. The rest of 0 candidates for the position of Chairman secured combined () of votes.
Similarly, for the position of Vice-Chairman, candidate Amrita Bohora of Nepal Communist Party (Maoist) (CPN (M)) secured 520 (52.79%) and was elected as a Vice-Chairman, while Buddhi Kala Bohora of Nepal Communist Party (Unified Marxist-Leninist) (CPN (UML)) secured 403 (26.78%) of votes and came in second position. Other 1 candidates who contested for Vice-Chairman secured combined 62 (3.15) of votes.

As illustrated in the pie chart, there were total 66 candidates contested in various positions with gender ratio of 36 (54.55%) males and 30 (45.45%) females. Moreover, there were total 13 candidates contested for ward chairman positions in 6 wards. Same as, total 27 candidates had contested for ward member positions while 13 females and 8 females from depressed group (dalit) had contested for female member position in each ward.
