Lo Ghekar Damodarkunda Rural Municipality (Mustang) Election Results 2017
In 2017 election of Lo Ghekar Damodarkunda Rural Municipality (Mustang district), candidate Lopsang Chompel Bista of Independent (Ind) secured 755 (78.81%) votes out of total votes of 958 and was elected as a Chairman. The first runner-up candidate was Tenzing Tshering Gurung of Nepali Congress Party (NC) who secured 203 (11.85%) of votes. The rest of 0 candidates for the position of Chairman secured combined () of votes.
Similarly, for the position of Vice-Chairman, candidate Dhoka Gurung of Nepal Communist Party (Unified Marxist-Leninist) (CPN (UML)) secured 601 (65.11%) and was elected as a Vice-Chairman, while Kachang Chuten Gurung of Nepali Congress Party (NC) secured 322 (21.13%) of votes and came in second position. Other 0 candidates who contested for Vice-Chairman secured combined () of votes.

As illustrated in the pie chart, there were total 25 candidates contested in various positions with gender ratio of 17 (68.00%) males and 8 (32.00%) females. Moreover, there were total 5 candidates contested for ward chairman positions in 5 wards. Same as, total 10 candidates had contested for ward member positions while 5 females and 1 females from depressed group (dalit) had contested for female member position in each ward.
