Nawalparasi – 5 | 2008 Constituent Assembly Election Results

There were 42,374 votes casted during 2008 Constituent Assembly elections in Nawalparasi District, Constituency No. 5. The candidte of MPRF - Ram Bachhan Ahir secured 13,641 (32.19%) votes and secured victory in the election. The runner-up candidate was Raju Prasad Chamar Harijan of Nepal Communist Party (Maoist) who secured 10,849 (25.60%) votes and came in second position. The difference in votes of Ram Bachhan Ahir and Raju Prasad Chamar Harijan was 2,792. All other candidates secured 17,884 (42.21%) votes.
