Rukum – 2 | 1999 House of Representatives Election Results

There were 24,455 votes casted during 1999 House of Representatives elections in Rukum District, Constituency No. 2. The candidte of Nepal Communist Party (Unified Marxist-Leninist) - Tirtha Gautam secured 11,135 (45.53%) votes and secured victory in the election. The runner-up candidate was Gopalji Jung Shah of Nepali Congress Party who secured 10,639 (43.50%) votes and came in second position. The difference in votes of Tirtha Gautam and Gopalji Jung Shah was 496. All other candidates secured 2,681 (10.96%) votes.
