Makwanpur – 2 | 1994 House of Representatives Election Results
There were 37,993 votes casted during 1994 House of Representatives elections in Makwanpur District, Constituency No. 2. The candidte of Nepal Communist Party (Unified Marxist-Leninist) - Birodh Khatiwada secured 16,144 (42.49%) votes and secured victory in the election. The runner-up candidate was Kamal Thapa of Rastriya Prajatantra Party who secured 11,878 (31.26%) votes and came in second position. The difference in votes of Birodh Khatiwada and Kamal Thapa was 4,266. All other candidates secured 9,971 (26.24%) votes.
